Typically requiring 4+ years of industry experience and a full UK driving licence.

Vacuum Tanker Drivers & Engineers — attending emergency callouts and scheduled clean-outs, carrying out waste removal, liquid recovery, drain and sewer cleansing, and flood response. A valid Class 2 HGV licence is typically required.

Drainage Engineer Supervisors — overseeing drainage teams and ensuring works are completed to the highest standards across reactive and planned works throughout Greater London.

CCTV Surveyors & Engineers — conducting CCTV drain surveys using WinCan software, diagnosing drainage defects, and carrying out confined space surveys. Typically requiring a minimum of 3–5 years of drainage/CCTV experience, CSCS card, and familiarity with WRC defect codes.

Trainee Plumbers & Drainage Engineers — entry-level positions supporting our crews with vacuum tanker services, jetting, and plumbing works across Central London and surrounding counties. A full UK driving licence is required; HGV not essential.

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and professional full time Drainage Engineer for one of the capitals leading maintenance service companies in Greater London & surrounding counties.
As one of our Drainage Engineers, you will be required to carry out a range of services associated with cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of both domestic and commercial drainage (including both reactive & planned works) in and around the Central London area and to deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise whilst maintaining a high standard in regards to the company, your vehicle and equipment.
Duties may include:
- Clearing blockages
- Carrying out and compiling CCTV drain surveys;
- Root cutting;
- Stack de-scaling;
- Electro mechanical core cleaning (no water);
- Drain excavation;
- Confined space entry;
- Assisting in vacuum tanker services;
- Flooded basement & void pump outs;
- Planned Preventative Maintenance programmes (PPM);
- Accurately recording job details via internal and client systems;
- Communicating effectively with clients and reporting to the Help Desk Manager and team on a daily basis to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.
To be considered for this new role, the following key skills and experience will be required:

- Engineers must have at least 4 years industry experience;
- Hold a full clean UK driving license;
- High pressure water jetting (HPWJ);
- CCTV surveys;
- Demonstrate technical knowledge and competency with regard to all aspects of drainage;
- Be able to approach and resolve drainage problems logically;
- Show commitment and enthusiasm for the task in hand;
- Being a team player is essential as on occasions you will be working within a team as well as using your own initiative at times;

CCTV Engineer
Monday – Friday 8AM – 5:30PM
Go-Fix Mechanical & Drainage Services provide drainage, vacuum tanker & other various maintenance services for a broad range of clients throughout Central London and the surrounding counties. As part of a drainage team, you will be required to assist in the completion of a vast range of services associated with drainage cleaning, maintenance, reactive callouts & planned services for both domestic & commercial clients.
You will be expected to deliver a high standard of work with excellent customer services using your technical expertise whilst ensuring your work vehicle, uniform & equipment are all kept clean, tidy & to a very high standard.
Duties:
- Carry out CCTV drain surveys using WinCan software (or similar)
- Diagnose and report on drainage defects or issues
- Carry out confined space surveys
- Weekly call out work and overtime will apply.
- Communicating effectively with clients and reporting to the Help Desk Manager and team to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times
To be considered for this new role, the following key skills and experience is required:
Key skills and experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the drainage industry
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in CCTV surveying/drainage including the use of WinCan software
- Experienced with push rod CCTV equipment and CCTV crawler unit
- Experience with Wincan VX software.
- Experience with industry standard defect codes as set out by WRC.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- CSCS card.
- Ability to assist in all aspects of drainage works as required
- Weekly callout rota and overtime will apply

Trainee Plumbers & Drainage Engineers
Go-Fix Mechanical & Drainage are hiring Drainage and Plumbing Assistants. Assistants will join our crews in carrying out essential drainage maintenance works. This role will offer a great opportunity for learning and career progression. Your hard work and determination will be rewarded with a competitive salary and ongoing professional development.
The position will be Monday to Friday and hours will be 8AM – 5:30PM
- Hold a full UK Driving licence
- Able to prioritise workloads, multitasking is a must as we are a fast-paced reactive maintenance company
- Excellent organisational skills and be able to work to deadlines and be able to work under pressure
- The ability to pick up new processes and retain process information
- Experience operating a vacuum tanker is preferred HGV Not required
